David Gugliotta - Producer/Songwriter/Composer

David Gugliotta is a Sydney based music producer, composer and songwriter, who also operates his own boutique music production house and called ‘Tonemarket Music’.

David has a fresh and original approach to music production and song writing, and is passionate about music being the best it can be, whether in the studio or on stage. With a combination of skills, experience, insight and industry networks, David has established himself as a sought after music professional who is committed to excellence.

A profile that is forever growing with the music industry:

- David continues to have his music used on TV including Ch 9 Wide World of Sports and FOXTEL Discovery Channel

- Producing, writing and working with talented independent artists such as Sarah Bird, Mandi Jarry and Anthony Snape.

- Being appointed as Musical Director for select acts.

- Writing music for award winning short film producers.

- Working on his own projects, including ‘FyNE CuTz’ a Dance/Electronica act.

ARIA Awards Judge -
In 2003 David Gugliotta was appointed as an ARIA Judge.

Musicoz Awards Judge –
In 2004 David was included on the judging panel for the well-known and respected MUSICOZ Awards. His company Tonemarket Music is also a sponsor for these awards.

Furthermore, sharing his vast knowledge of the music industry and success as a musician and songwriter, David also is a part-time music lecturer for TAFE Entertainment - Contemporary Music College.

A History of industry experience
As a talented multi instrumentalist, David has performed in bands as a drummer, guitarist, bassist, keyboardist and vocalist. His experience has incorporated several projects spanning a broad range of musical styles experimenting with everything from Hip-Hop, Funk, Drum & Bass, Dance, Latin and Fusion, to Jazz, Pop, Rock, Country and Folk. David has performed alongside artists such as Sarah Blasko, George, Grinspoon, Thirsty Merc, David Campbell, Sally Singleton, Paulinie and Jenny Morris.

In 1998 David formed a band called bURN which was a success, performing live to sold out shows, as well as releasing an EP and a single through MGM Distribution that received rave critical reviews, national radio airplay and prime time TV coverage.

David entered two songs he wrote for bURN in national songwriting competitions (sponsored by APRA and SONY) and came first. One of bURNs tracks that David wrote was also selected to feature on a compilation put together by BMG/Gotham.

David also had the oppurtunity to work with production company Mayday Music, working on a number of high profile projects. These included:

- all girl pop group featuring Sharni Vinson (Neighbours), Kate Ellsworth and Becca
- soundtrack work for the Oprah Winfrey Book Club,
- music for the Cricket on Channel 9,
- Jon Stevens (Noiseworks, INXS) solo album ‘Aint No Life For The Faint Hearted’.

Leading up to the Sydney 2000 Olympics David wrote and produced a song called 'Believe In Your Soul'. This song was to become somewhat of an anthem for the athletes, with all gold medallists being presented with a copy of the song.

Colin Gugliotta - Manager

Colin has always had a keen interest in Music. Although his background lies in Real Estate and Property, he has never let his passion for music slip too far away. In the 80s he was the lead guitarist in the band Da Froid and in the 90’s took a position with TWA Records as NSW Sales Manager.

Colin’s core interest has been in Real Estate. In the early 80s, he started a Real Estate career that has now spanned over 25 years. In that time Colin has been recognized as one of the industry’s leading performers. He has received numerous awards for outstanding achievements which include recognition from the Real Estate Institute of NSW as being in the top 1% performers in NSW, as well as one of the top 5 performers in the Northern Districts.

Other awards include the Gold Listing Awards for most listings in the Gilmour Network, as well as constant recognition for being in the top 10 Sales Agents in the group.

 Colin now works as an Executive Consultant for Gilmour & Smith and has been involved in Development Projects for himself and as a consultant.

 But his passion for music has never been too far away. He has recently joined the Tonemarket label as General Manager, and is eager to put his client and negotiation skills to the Music industry. His experience with Business planning and Marketing will be invaluable to the company as will his ability to negotiate and execute deals.
